Grader Jewelers is a third-generation family owned jewelry store. Peter and Lorraine Grader founded the business in 1962 with $350 and big dreams. Peter was a watchmaker trained in Europe and Lorraine was a college graduate with a degree in Accounting. All these years later and their dream has blossomed into a trusted and beloved family business.
Mark Grader, Peter and Lorraine’s son, is the President of the company today. Mark has always had a hand in the business starting from a young age, and is proud to continue to uphold those family values. Along with wife Linda, who serves as Vice President and heads up Human Resources, they are proud of the Grader Jeweler legacy, and find great pleasure in bringing joy to others with fine jewelry.
The latest generation to enter the business is Mark and Linda’s daughter, and Peter and Lorraine’s granddaughter, Andrea. She graduated college with a degree in Business Administration and a passion for jewelry. Her passion was evident from an early age when she would pull weeds in front of the Groton store in exchange for earrings!
